Golden Gloves: Flight of the Hawks
A middle grade soccer novel for ages 8–12
Ten-year-old Rafael has the talent—but not the temper. As a goalkeeper for top team Phoenix United, he’s tired of being invisible until one bad match pushes him to quit.
Joining the underdog Pineberry Hawks, Rafael finds real teammates and a patient coach—and starts to see that being a goalie might be his true strength. But when the Spring Cup final pits the Hawks against Phoenix, Rafael must face his past and prove who he’s becoming.
A fast-paced, heartfelt story about teamwork, resilience, and finding your place.
